Whether you are facing high anxiety, depression or relationship issues, my goal is to work with you to reach your personal goals in a safe environment. I am passionate about what I do because I know what it is like to walk alone without guidance. I also know that it is not just counseling but rather quality counseling that can change your life and perspectives. I can help you overcome your pain and find the new purpose of your life. If you are looking for a counselor who can truly empathize what you are going through and understand your cultural background with top notch professional knowledge and experience, I am here to help you.
A graduate of Columbia University’s Psychological Counseling program, I have had the opportunity to gain experiences with multiple treatment orientations. I have successfully treated people with Mood Disorders, Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Phobias, Grief and Loss, and Divorce Recovery. I have a special heart for working with marital issues, relational struggles, enhancing communication skills, strengthening self-images and self-esteem, and balancing life in career and family.
My approach is interactive and collaborative. I am both bilingual and bicultural fluent in English and Korean. As a result, I am well qualified to work with those struggling with acculturation and major life transitions. I am a Christian counselor, but non-Christians are most definitely welcome. Counseling via Skype or Zoom is also available.
